- On 01.01.2019 or before Appointed MTS
- On 01.01.2019 or before Appointed MTS; now PM / MG
Category B (unfilled Vacancies from Category A)
- On 02.01.2021 to 01.01.2024 Appointed PM / MG from GDS
- On 02.01.2019 to 01.01.2024 Appointed MTS from GDS
- Note: They should be appointed as GDS on or before 01.01.2019
Category C (unfilled Vacancies from Category A & B)
- On 01.01.2019 or before Appointed GDS

- On 01.01.2019 or before Appointed GDS
PM MG Exam for MTS Candidates: (50% of PM MG Vacancies in 2024)
- Category A: On 01.01.2021 or before Appointed MTS
- Category B: On 02.01.2021 to 01.01.2024 Appointed MTS from GDS
- (Appointed as GDS on or before 01.01.2019)
Important Note:
- PA SA Exam Notification based on necessary clearance may be obtained from Election Commission, if required.
- From 2024, All the Exams (MTS, PM MG & PA SA) are conducted at Postal Circle Level
- From 2024, Eligible to Know the Local Language to write the Exam is not mandatory
